Frequently asked questions
Do I need prior experience to start?
No. Our beginner path covers tool basics, room protection, priming, and first-coat technique. You can progress to ceilings and sprayer modules as confidence grows.
What equipment is required?
A quality 2" angled brush, a 9" roller frame with 3/8–1/2" covers, painter’s tape, drop cloths, sanding pads (120–220), and a low-VOC primer. Sprayer courses list additional safety PPE.
How are ceilings different from walls?
Ceilings demand controlled overlap to avoid lap marks. We teach ceiling-first sequencing, stable stance, and a consistent load-and-roll rhythm that reduces streaking.
Do you offer certificates?
Yes. Complete a path (Wall Prep + Cut-In + Rolling Systems) and pass the assessment to receive a digital certificate from Sonavora Finishes.
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds are available within 14 days if less than 20% of course content has been viewed. See the full policy in our Terms.
Are there business-focused modules?
Yes, our Business category covers estimating, client communication, and scheduling without overbooking pressures.
Can I learn sprayer use safely?
Absolutely. We emphasize PPE, pressure management, tip selection, and controlled passes with test boards before walls or ceilings.
Do you support teams?
We offer group access and a team practice plan. Contact us to align modules with your project pipeline.
